PREVIOUS MEETS
"The Melbourne Rs are MASSIVE...right" - Paul Finney talks about the Melbourne Rs during a recent Open All Rs Podcast.
Check out flyers and pics from our previous QPR meets.

This was the first ever flyer made for the Melbourne Rs Official Meet, featuring a giant Adel Taarabt firing the ball into a building in Melbourne City.

This was the second flyer made for the Melbourne Rs Official Meet #01, featuring a crazy Stéphane Mbia and one of the statues from Swanston Street (http://www.sydney-australia.biz/victoria/melbourne/landmarks/melbournesculptures.php). First meet was originally going to be held at the Charles Dickens but was later changed to the Turf Bar.

This was the third flyer made for the Melbourne Rs Official Meet #01 to announce the change in venue to the Turf Sports Bar. It features Jermaine Jenas & his manager locked out the front of the Turf Bar entrance - a cheeky photoshop of the original moment of which Jenas & his manager were locked outside QPR HQ on Transfer Deadline Day.

Images taken from Melbourne Rs Official Meet #01 in which 20 approx Rs fans gathered att the Turf Bar to watch QPRs English Premier League match v Norwich City which ended in a 0-all stale mate.

This was the first poster for the Melbourne Rs Official Meet #02 for the Super Hoops v Fake Hoops English Premier League match. The meet was later moved from the Turf Bar to Paddy O'Briens Irish Bar due to the match scheduled on a Sunday night & the licensing restrictions.

This was the second poster for the Melbourne Rs Official Meet #02 for the QPR v Reading English Premier League match. This flyer was creating after matches prior to the organised meet confirmed QPR (& Readings) fate in the EPL. The meet was later moved from the Turf Bar to Paddy O'Briens Irish Bar due to the match scheduled on a Sunday night & the licensing restrictions.

One of a few images taken from Melbourne Rs Official Meet #02 in which 10-12 approx Rs fans gathered at PJ O'Briens bar to watch QPRs English Premier League match v Reading which ended in another 0-all stale mate and sealed QPRs fate in the EPL for 2012-13. Smiles before the game in this pic (but absolutely gutted with how the season has panned out).

The beginning of a new season! This was a flyer made for the upcoming Melbourne Rs Official Meets (double header) for the QPR v Bolton & Leeds Skybet Championship Matches at the Turf Sports Bar. It features Harry Redknapp and Tony Fernandes depicting Kate & William holding their own "royal" baby - the Championship trophy (won by QPR in their last season in the Championship in 2010-11).

Images taken from Melbourne Rs Official Meet #03 in which 25 approx Rs fans gathered at the Turf Bar to watch QPRs Skybet Championship match v Bolton which ended in a 1-0 away victory - the first QPR win (and goal) experienced at a Melbourne Rs Official Meet.

This was the first flyer made for the Melbourne Rs Official Meet #04 to announce the QPR v Leeds match at the Turf Sports Bar. It features Joey Barton and Charlie Austin as the Cape Crusaders Batman and Robin. This meet was later cancelled due to legal restrictions around screening the match via Setanta's plus (online) channel.

This was the first flyer made for the new Melbourne Rs Official Meet #04 to announce the Super Hoops v Fake Hoops match at the Turf Sports Bar. This meet was again cancelled due to legal restrictions around screening the match via Setanta's plus (online) channel.

This was the first flyer made for the new Melbourne Rs Official Meet #04 to announce the QPR v Burnley match at the Turf Sports Bar. Using an image from the Melbourne Rs Meet #03, we included Harry Redknapp, Joey Barton and Clint Hill enjoying themselves in the background.

Loftus Road in Melbourne was the idea behind this flyer for the match v Leeds.

This was supposed to be a Paddy Kenny home "welcoming" but in the end he didn't play. Shame that.

A double header weekend for Notts Forest & Leicester - two back to back matches. Playing a 2nd string team, the 2nd match v Foxes became the Rs first ever loss (1-0) witnessed at a Melbourne Rs Official Meet.

Two playoff legs at insane times in the morning ad with the mornings being very cold and wet, these meets weren't officially supposed to happen but were organised by Brayden Ford a day or so prior. About 6-7 went to the 1st leg on a Saturday morning but then only 1 person (Poor Chris) was there on the Tuesday morning for the 2nd leg which turned out to be the better game (QPR 2-1 in ET) so Chris wins!

THE FINAL AT WEMBLEY! Many Aussie Rs thought about going to London but money/time was a burden for some. The Melbourne Rs Official meet was the next best option.
