Close to 40 Rs fans from Melbourne and various parts of Australia gathered at the Turf Sports Bar & Grill for another Melbourne Rs Official Meet and a mouth watering home clash vs Mark Hughes' Stoke City, the first time the Rs former gaffer had returned to Loftus Road since he was sacked by the club after a disastrous start to the 2012-13 Premier League season which eventually lead to relegation.
 

QPR looked likely to be heading towards their fourth league defeat of the season until Niko Kranjcar, their most creative force during an entertaining match, scored his first league goal since February 2011 with a superb free kick in the 89th minute.

 

The Turf Bar erupted at Niko's wonderous strike.

At the full time whistle there was a sense of great relief. While it's disappointing to drop two points at home, to get a point was nearly as important.
