The Melbourne Rs were back rockin' at the Turf Sports Bar & Grill for the first time in 2014 last night for the highly anticipated clash against 3rd placed Burnley FC at Loftus Rd.

For the first time QPR fans from QLD, NSW & SOUTH AUSTRALIA (thanks to the Hoops Down Under Facebook Group) made this a true Australasia event with a good mix of Aussies, London Ex-pats & a couple of kiwis.

A quick head count before 30 mins before kickoff showed an attendance of 41 Rs fans but that number went over the 50 mark by the time the referee's whistle blew.

With QPR leading 2-1 at halftime after brilliant goals to new signing Doyle and Dunne, Burnley FC got the upper hand soon into the 2nd half with 2 goals to Vokes in the space of 8 mins.
Then in the 79th min, the Turf exploded as QPR equalized through another new signing Maiga to end what was an insane football match between two Championship heavy weights.
